Big Ben Wallace is still holding own the No. 1 spot, and I'm becoming more convinced each day that he's leaing Detroit. You folks in chicago like him? Cz the Bulls might be able to swoop in and get him if the Pistons don;t bring a big enough offer. </div> One thing to note, Chris Sheridan needs to use grammar check. http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=3640
I was very interested in Al Harrington earlier in the season when I found out he was going to be a FA, but after some research, I'd pass. I agree with Shape.
I don't know if I'd pass right away. The thought of having: Kobe, Harrington, Odom is very intriguing. That's a very lenghty, versatile lineup.
well its better than having brian cook as a starter the lakers are in desperate need of a starting PF and i think hes the best FA available
I think the Lakers plan on using Odom at PF next season. The long term goal will be Bynum-Kwame-Odom as the frontline. Al Harrington wants more money than he's worth, that's why I don't want him. He can't shoot, and his defensive effort is inconsistent. I can almost guarantee he'd struggle trying to learn the offense.
I say go for it. He can play backup to Odom. All we need on our team now are BIGS, (ppl saying Kwame Brown, you got to be kidding me) a few veterans, and depth. Harrington gives us depth.

He's listed as 6'11 I believe, but in Washington, he grew almost two inches. That would make him almost 7'1. He's also one of the strongest players in the NBA, look at him, he's a damn rock. He's solid, and showed that he can give you 12 and 8. If you want to see how strong he is, go look at the first time the Wizard played the Heat in Kwame's last year in Washington. Shaq couldn't back Kwame down to save his life, Kwame was backing Shaq out of the paint.
