If Bargnani can become half the player the scouts are making him out to be, you will forget about CV pretty quickly. Plus, TJ Ford is a very nice pick-up. He knows how to distribute the ball very well, and is lightning quick.
tj ford had a phenominal start to the year, then faded due to injuries i think. i wasnt sold on CV31 either, he hadnt established himself in my mind. Nice trade . Who else was gonna play point for you guys?

Yes but why trade away one our best young players when we have James to do a sign and trade and have 15 million under the cap? How could this be the best option? I just can't see it. Bargnani's going to take a couple seasons to develop. It doesn't even look like we've improved our team over last season. We're losing James and we get T.J Ford. We lose CV and replace him with Bargnani who won't be ready for a couple more season.

I hope CV develops into and all-star as well. Then Colangelo can realize the mistake that he's made. The sad part is CV even said he loved playing here and he wanted to play the rest of his career here. I don't think this will please Bosh. First not drafting LaMarcus and then losing Charlie.
Isn't he Co-GM? With the guy that used to be GM of Bargnani's old team... So oviously he thinks he's going to be good. I'm not saying it's a good trade. Ford just came back after the injury, averaged almost 13 points, 4 boards, and 7 assists. He's also one of the fastest players in the NBA.
This sucks now, but i think that bargnani will be good from the get go. he has bosh and rasho to take pressure off of him, even though rasho sucks.

I just saw this on Raptors.com and usually when you go to Raptors.com, you see a bunch of Bargnani pics, but then I saw T.J. Ford and I was like WTF!? I think this move is a good move by the Raps, but I think they should have got more out of it.
Man we could have gotten much more. I dont have much to say either. Pretty dissapointed that we couldnt get more for CV. I guess it all depends on how Bargnani does/turns out to be.
I know dude! I figured... + 1st rounder at least...or package a deal that would send both T.J. and Magloire...
