With all the buzz about him coming to Boston, I wanna see what you guys think. Do you want him? Do you not want him? Whats your take if a trade does go down?
It will be interesting to see if Pierce and Iverson play. Can they coexist or will it be hell in Boston. If Iverson get's traded to Boston, he will have to take less shots and pass the ball more. It will be interesting to see if he can do it and for how long.
Iverson and Pierce makes the Celtics instant ECF contenders. If they can co-exist, the East better watch out if a deal goes through.
I would wonder how they would play together though. Both want the ball, but both won't get enough touches.

They both have been in frustrating situations as of late, so AI should be happy to come here and Pierce has already stated that he's loving the possibility on Steven A. Smith's show. But most importantly, neither of them have ever played on the same team as another superstar. I know history has shown that they both like to dominate the ball, but that's really because they have no other choice since they haven't been surrounded by a lot of talent. People also don't realize that Pierce actually took a back seat to Antoine when he was in town, even though he was the better player. Walker was the clear face of the franchise and Paul was fine with it. There's just no ego issues with him.

Pierce has probably been better in clutch. Because for some reason everytime the Sixers were down to one shot, Webber took a 3 pointer and missed. I don't remember Iverson taking one last season. He probably did though. I'm guessing it's going to the person that's making a lot of shots during that game or to flip-flop that and go to the other person because he's having a bad game so the other team wouldn't expect it, and knock it down.
The reason you often saw other people getting off those type of shots on the 76ers is because in those last minute situations, team would often find a long defender that can deny AI the ball, or at time the Sixers would be stupid and try using Allen as a decoy. Allen had some clutch shots, the made a game winner against Denver is the last one I recall. If AI goes to the Celtics, I'm sure they won't be worrying about who gets a shot in the last minute, coaches get paid for a reason, AI and Pierce would have to do whatever is told for them to do. Iverson and Pierce are equally clutch, and Pierce is notorious for heating up in the 4th quarter. At this point, I would like to say an AI-Pierce duo. They can definitely do some damage, especially if AI and C-Webb were the highest scoring duo in the league. Imagine what AI-P2 could accomplish.

I've seen them before off course. The only one's I saw was Webber attempting them on the highlights.
I think they can co-exist but there will definetly be no ball for the post or the other wing. Downside it might cost you guys Al Jefferson and Gerald Green but you guys have a shot at the championships with a dominating back court.
I think Iverson and Pierce would coexist beautifully in Boston. If Pierce can play with both Walker and Ricky Davis, I think he would be just fine with Allen. Both guys are veterans looking for one thing-and thats winning a championship. Pierce has made it clear that he would like to remain in a Celtic uniform for the rest of his career, but that he would also like to see Celtic's ownership bring in some pieces that would help him reach his goals of winning a title; and to Pierce, Iverson is "that guy." Also, Iverson recently made it public that he would love playing along side Pierce. Talks about who would get the ball in the last second of the game, and the idea that Iverson is a ball hog and does not know how to involve his teammates is crazy -- the man averages over 7 assists a game last year, and having AI puts the Celtics in a better situation late in games. Now they would have more than JUST Pierce to rely on to hit the big shot at the end of the game. I would prefer to see the Celts hold onto West and Gomes, but in this case I think they should give up whom ever the Sixers want in order to get Iverson. I think it would be great, it would definitely bring the fans back to the Garden.
I think they both like to have the ball-but they'd much prefer to contend for a championship. If they can get defensive players up front, these two will absolutely contend for a championship.
Would be awesome to see, but it definately depends on the price...i don't want to get rid of all our youngs for jus a couple of years...if we didnt give off too much, then im all for it!
AI and pierce will dominate the east that willl end to a championship that Iverson and pierce always dreamed of , i am a die heart philly fan but boston will be my numba 1 team now, but i will still cheer for philly
