    James White...let the dunking begin this guy has incredible athletic ability do you think we could see him in the upcoming dunk contest? And how much playing time will he get if he is behind Granger, Jackson and Jones?

    Career Highlights: Topped the 1,000-point mark in career scoring with 1,270 points, 1,088 scored during his three seasons as a Bearcat to become the 44th member of UC’s 1,000-points club. Finished his career at Cincinnati after spending his freshman season at Florida. Sat out the 2002-03 season under NCAA transfer rules.

    Senior (2005-06): Honorable mention All-Big East selection. Led Bearcats in scoring (16.3 ppg) and free throw percentage (.838). Finished second on team in steals (1.2 spg), assists (2.0 apg) and blocks (0.8 bpg), and third in rebounding (5.1 rpg). Scored a career-high 32 points, including a career-high five three-pointers, in Big East Tourney loss to Syracuse. Reached double figures in scoring in all but four games.

    Junior (2004-05): Led Cincinnati in steals (3.1 spg) and scored in double digits in 19 games. Tallied 15 points and six rebounds in NCAA Tourney opening round victory over Iowa. Scored 15 points, including game-winning basket with 16.2 seconds to play, and grabbed a career high-tying 11 rebounds vs. Memphis.

    Sophomore (2003-04): Made UC debut in mid-December after sitting out 2002-03 season following transfer from Florida. Started final 21 games of season. Led Bearcats in assists (3.6 apg) and averaged 4.8 assists over final eight games of season. Dished out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds in C-USA semifinal win over St. Louis. Dished out a career-high nine assists at Charlotte.

    Freshman (2001-02): One of top subs on the perimeter as a freshman at Florida, averaging 20.5 minutes and helping lead the Gators to a 22-9 record.

    Strengths: Exceptional athlete with outstanding speed, quickness and leaping ability. Solid perimeter defender. Has improved his ball-handling and passing skills.

    Personal: Lettered in 2004 for Cincinnati’s C-USA champion track and field team. Qualified for NCAA Regionals in the high jump and triple jump.

    I like this because White is a versatlie guy who can defend, shoot a little, can pass very well, and handle the ball. He's also very athletic, and still has room to grow.
