The team now maintains a right of first refusal on offers from other NBA teams. When NBA free agency began at 12:01 this morning, Sixers forwards Michael Bradley and Matt Barnes became unrestricted free agents. Neither is expected back. The Sixers seem intent on retaining Green and Randolph; it remains unclear whether their interest in Salmons is to keep him or use him in a sign-and-trade deal. [READ]</div> Source
I believe Green has the potential to be a great player in the future. Although, I’m not sure he will ever reach elite superstar level. I think he can average around 18-20 points in the prime of his career. I really hope we keep him especially if we plan on getting rid of Allen Iverson. John Salmons is another player I think we should hold on to. Although, he is also our most valuable trade piece. Under no circumstances should we let Salmons go to Phoenix I guarantee if he pairs up with Nash he will reach that next level, and make us look stupid for letting him go. Shavlik Randolph is a good spark off the bench, but nothing special. We have had guys like him in the past. Anyone remember Zendon Hamilton? I don’t expect him to get an offer.
Well I like Salmons, but he really needs to improve his jumper. I actually like the fact he is a tall gaurd who can bring up the ball, but that needs to improve as well. I dont think he would ever be as good as you say on the Suns, because he doesnt have that jumper like everyone else does on that team. Willie Green, still need to look at him to see how he is from surgery. Im sure the Sixers have seen enough, and made him believe that he is just fine. I dont believe he will be like the 18-20 point scorer. He should be used of the bench, nothing more. Randolph....i actually would start him over Webber. Just the fact that he can rebound the ball. Im not too sure about his defense, but if its anywhere close to Webbers weak Defense, then nothing should be wrong in starting Randolph. Either way, he needs to be on this team.
Green will be a great player in the future just not a superstar maybe like a 16 points per game scorer and. Shavlik is a good defender a good rebounder his potenial is enormous.
Never liked Salmons; hope he goes one way or another. Green and Randolph are both players I would try to keep

I like Salmons, I just don't think he is in a good situation in Philly. If he were to go some place like San Antonio, NJ, or maybe the Suns he could be a really good role player.
if you look at our roster, i really think it could get real competitive in the guard spots. you got AI (assuming he comes back), youngster louis williams, willie green, rodney carney, bobby jones, korver?, and salmons. oh yeah, and not to mention kevin ollie. i know guys can switch up positions and all that, but thats a lot of players that can play guard. (that is also assuming that salmons and green return)
