He has accepted a five year, 31 million deal from the Lakers, after rejecting an identical deal with the Clippers.

It's not quite the 42 million he knocked back here, but I daresay Bauman has saved face somewhat and he's lucky to still be getting that much. Will be interesting to see how he goes on a team without an inside presence, although he'll still get open shots with the attention Kobe gets.

I'm not really sure what the Lakers are thinking, since they're going to have two 6'10" tweener forwards refusing to play inside. They need a tough, rebounding forward, and Radman is pretty much the opposite.

Having LO and Radman could open up the floor for kobe and take some of the pressure off him.

I agree, Bauman did a good job getting Vlad 5/31. Because besides hitting a flurry of 3's in one of the games I saw, he looked horrible, especially defensively.

In any case, it'll be interesting to see Vlad in the triangle offense - Phil must be thinking of him as a 6-10 Steve Kerr, or John Paxson.

kobe will provide plenty of threes for him, the lakers will use him well imo.
