Bulls Shopping Chandler? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jul 3 - The Detroit News reports the Bulls have been shopping Tyson Chandler around the league in hopes of getting a more offensive-minded big man like Golden State's Troy Murphy or Utah's Carlos Boozer, and had their free-agent sights on a less-expensive center such as Joel Przybilla or Nazr Mohammed. </div>
SP23 said it. If you indeed acquire Wallace. Chandler should pack his bags the same night. Our initial offer to Wallace is four years 52 million dollars. So we are saving eight million dollars, compared to Tyson’s deal, and getting a better player. We also need money to resign our future (i.e. Gordon, Hinrich, and Deng). I don’t see how trading him for Carlos Boozer would help as he has a pretty big contract.

Chandler is most definitely on the block in my mind. We land Ben, Tyson is gone. Tyson's contract is too big for us to have to both he and Ben, and beyond that, we'd have zero frontcourt offense if the two of them started together. Throw that in with the fact that we'd have no cap space in the coming years and it's a nice big equation to rid us of Tyson.
