    Nice!

But please... no Rafael Araujo! The guy sucks so bad. Another example of why ex Toronto GM Rob Babcock should have been fired sooner.

Thx for the article! (thx to others who have posted articles as well)

Looking at the Jazz's payroll/roster, the only guys they would realistically trade for Fisher are...(Contract Remaining)

    Giricek (2 yrs, $8m)
    Devin Brown (TO for $2.7m)
    McLeod (1 yr, $1.5m)
    Araujo (2 yrs, $5.45m)

Fisher is making $5.9m this year but has 4 yrs, $26.5m left.

I say Giricek + McLeod/Brown for Fisher is realistic. If one of the teams has a trade exception then a straight up Fisher for Giricek deal would work. Warriors reduce payroll and have Giricek to backup JRich/Dunleavy if Pietrus is traded. Ellis is made backup to Baron at PG.

I wonder if a sign and trade involving Harpring would work, we could definitely use his toughness

If it was for Fisher, I'd do it. I'll take John Stockton for Derek Fisher.

Hell no -- John Stockton could run the pick-n-roll until he's 70 years old. At least he could try to run a pick-n-roll, which would be better than Fisher. [IMG]

Dude -- those shorts were aerodynamic -- maybe Baron and Jrich could try that look for 06-07?

Yeah, if you want to see what nba schlong looks like.

Aerodynamic is having no hair, like Brian Cardinal. Watch him glide through the air as he takes off from the free throw line for a tomahawk jam over Marcus Camby.

When Derek Fisher will go, who will come from the bench and will help Baron Davis when he will be tired or injured?
Maybe, someone will say "Monta Ellis" but he's very young and needs more time to improve himself.

Any Vet point guard at the minimum would do what Fish is doing and then some.

    Well said.

Plus, we still have Will Bynum, who, IMO, out performed Fisher in the areas that matter at the point: ball control, minimize turnovers, initiate the offense, guard opposing PGs. THis is my personal opinion but I felt safer with the ball in Bynum's hands.

Devin Brown - $2,700,000 (Team Option)
    Keith McLeod - $1,436,500
Andre Owen - FA (Deal will be completed after he signs a contract with Jazz)

Brown and McLeod are FA's after this year. Brown can be even released this year. Owen will probably sign a 1 year deal for the league min. in order to make salaries work. It's a contract dump pretty much.

This trade would leave the W's a little thin in the back court, but again I don't know much about the players they are getting.

Brown has a team option and McLoed is in his last year of his contract. It depends on Owens and the contract he signs. Can anyone let me know about the three players.

It opens up playing time for Ellis, Pietrus and Bynum. Mully please don't sign Pietrus to some horrible contract until he proves he can play with smart ball. I love his physical skills but his BB IQ is horrible. He should be much better than he played last year so let him earn a new contract or cut him loose.
