This seemed like a good time to chime in with post #1000.

I was glad to get the win and tickled that the defence played as well as it did. I still can't brag too much over beating a Pats team that has been on the ropes this season. Still an accomplishment anytime you can force Brady into a performance like that. On to Denver!

This is the defining moment for this seasons version of the KC defence. Let's see if we have matured enough to stop Plummer from the play action fake/bootleg that has chewed up the last 3 times we have faced them. We have consistantly overpursued the run against them and Plummer has made us pay for it dearly on the rollout pass to the crossing patterns. Time to roll up the sleeves and go to work. At least this one is being played in the friendy confines of Arrowhead stadium.

The last time I saw a Chiefs/Broncos game I was in Denver and Dante Hall took it to the house in one of the most impressive punt returns I have ever seen (although I agree with Broncos fans that there was a block in the back on the play with helped Hall).

KC could be a good dark horse team for the playoffs. The Colts are playing at another level, but on any given Sunday...

The defining moment for the Chiefs defense? The money they spent on this unit in the offseason, they shouldn't need a turning point! Chiefs defense sucks, although picking off Brady four times is impressive, it is hard to play at arrowhead and I wouldnt get excited by beating a depleted Pats team with little or no running game to compliment Brady

Probably because Dillon and Faulk was out. It made their gameplan very predictable like the Eagles did with McNabb.

The only bad thing is that the Patriots will win the nfc east with a losing record

I agree. They've passed the rough part of the schedule.

Actually, The Chief's defence is playing much better now than at the beginning of the season (which is to be expected with so many new faces). Paying for new players has nothing to do with it not still taking time to learn to play as a team. Do you actually watch football?

Regardless of how poor NE is playing (compared to the team in previous seasons), its always nice to knock off the world champs and pile on, whoever they are. Always a nice win and good timing to coordinate it with #1K.
