Memphis - 3:00PM July 18th - v. Washington - 3:00PM July 19th - v. Memphis - 7:30PM Unfortunately, there's only 4 pro teams in the Summer Pro League this year. Normally there's at least 6, but the Lakers play Memphis quite a few times if you want to watch Rudy Gay play.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting samoan-maverick:</div><div class="quote_post">Is it for sure gay is playing? Because I'm already bummed about all of my Mavs playing in Vegas.</div> I'm pretty sure Rudy Gay will be there. The Grizzlies official page only lists Long Beach SPL as their only league they'll be participating in. Trades become official on the 12th, so Rudy Gay might play at the tailend of the Summer League.
Shape has Gay even been traded yet? He is still listed as a Rocket on the Rockets web site, and there have been no official reports.
I think it can't be official til the 12th or something. There's a date where it can be official, I'm just not sure if it's the same date as the Free Agent signees.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Noticeably absent will be No. 8 overall draft pick, Rudy Gay. The Griz acquired the rights to Gay in a draft-day trade with the Houston Rockets, who also sent Stromile Swift back to Memphis and received Shane Battier in return. Gay can't officially join the Griz until the deal is finalized July 12. That's also when Battier's base-year compensation status is lifted. Otherwise, the Griz could have only received a player worth half Battier's value. When the deal is done, Griz officials expect Gay to immediately join the summer-league roster and participate in several games. </div> Source
