<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kasun, an intimidating 2.16 meter & 26 year-old center, will land tomorrow in Barcelona to pass his medical review and sign as a new player for the club. The croatian, who will be presented next Tuesday at 12 hours, has finished his contract with the Magic, after two seasons in which he has had few protagonism, since he's played a total 569 minutes in 73 games (averaging 7.8 minutes per game). With Kasun's arrival, Barcelona strengthens in a considerable way their interior game, one of the weak spots of the team last season. The catalan club has also confirmed, as expected, the renovation of the african guard Romain Sato and that of the greek center Giannis Bourousis, signed to help the team in the playoffs of the ACB League, and had ended contract las June 30th.</div> Source This was expected and I'm glad to see him gone. There were rumors that he wasn't happy here so good riddence. The article was originally in Spanish but the above quote was translated. Gortat > Mario
Good riddance. With Gortat coming over, we won't need Kasun (not like we needed him before). Wasn't he rude to you at some point Swish, he didn't want to interview or something? The only downside is that my Kasun jersey is gonna go out of style.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Orlandoman:</div><div class="quote_post">Wasn't he rude to you at some point Swish, he didn't want to interview or something? </div> Yeah he was. Every other player on the Magic let me interview them and some even came up to me and were interested in me (Jameer, Dwight, and Garrity). When I asked Mario, he was like, "I don't do interviews before games." I just started laughing and when I got back to the press room, Brian Schmitz (Orlando Sentinel beat writer) came over and said, "I saw you turned down by Mario in there. Don't worry about it, it's just Mario. If you wanted to, you could probably interview him during the game with how much he plays."

Freaking hilarity right there. No loss, no surprise.

From what I've been hearing, this Marcin Gortat guy is a stud. I guess in some Magic practices he was outworking Bo Outlaw and is constantly hustling and diving for lose balls. Also, someone said he jumps higher than Dwight Howard and he has a ton of potential. I can't wait to see the kid play in the summer league. I'd rather have him over a grumpy Mario any day.
We gained an extra roster spot, thats worth a lot more to us right now than him just sitting on the bench injured.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">The Magic shouldn't even bother playing this season. It's already over.</div> What's that supposed to mean?

Yeah, that's one less white guy on our team and a lot less tattoos. Now all we need to do is lose Garrity and then we would have 0 tattoos left.
