Supposedly there is a deal that's in the works between us and the Raptors. It was on RealGm by "an inside source", so I'm not sure how true it actually is, but here's the trade proposed.....

Joey Graham / Alvin Willaims for Dooling / Hedo

Alvin Williams has 2 years left for around 6.5 each year and Graham was a guy we targetted last year before drafting Fran.

    Opinions on this trade?

The Raps already have a Turkoglu type player, who is Peterson. The Raps wouldn't do this trade in my opinion. The Raps are looking for some defenders and I don't think Turk. is much of that..

Not a bad idea, Graham can give us the perimeter defense we need and we still have Redick for the 3's also Garrity, and Williams he is not a great PG but people underesitmate him he is good and he can give pointers to Nelson.

This Is The Dumbest Trade I Have Ever Heard. Jesus.

Alvin Williams is a small forward, and Graham is average at best when it comes to defense. What are you talking about? :-/

Yeah, I don't know about this trade. I like Joey Graham and everything but trading away Hedo and Dooling would be an awful lot for him and Williams. Even though I'm not the biggest Hedo supporter, I think we should hold onto him for now unless we get a much better deal.

idk, from looking at this i think this trade would be a bad choice...i think we would be a lot better if we keep hedo...imo he isnt half bad..and dooling..well sure he has his good days and bad days..but we would be better off if we kept the two of them in this trade.

Bad trade, Hedo is a very good player that is only now learning how to be a starter. He did very well for us last year and to give him up for Joey and Alvin would be a horrible trade IMO. I think Turk is one of our main pieces surrounding Howard and Nelson.

If we trade him, our 3 pointers will probably be worse than it was last year, IMObecause Hedo would get big minutes, while I don't think we would rush JJ in and give him 35 mins or so. We have to keep Hedo. He was our best offensive player the last 2-3 months of the season. Why give that up? He also had absolutely great chemistry with Jameer and Dwight. They all seemed to be very good friends.

Well just look at the Lakers forum, you'll find much stupider. [IMG] Seriously though I definetely agree. There is no reason at all for us to do this trade.

I'm thinking of Aaron Williams, aren't I? He left Toronto midseason last year.

Mark Cuban and two other stat-maniacs came up with an algorithm that takes into account every single aspect of basketball, including chares drawn, diving for loose balls, and things of that sort. Hedo Turkoglu was #1. NUMBER ONE. That is why Weisbrod signed him. I love Hedo-- we can't get rid of him unless it's a great offer.
