Starting Lineup (As of right now): Smush Parker: 9.4 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 2.9 APG, 1.7 SPG Kobe Bryant: 31 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 5.5 APG, 2.1 SPG Vladimir Radmanovic: 17.8 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 2.4 APG Lamar Odom: 16.4 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 5.9 APG Kwame Brown: 12.3 PPG, 8.4 RPG, 1.4 APG
wow great year for radman, i think kobe will score more than that. i'd say like 33-36 ppg 5 and 5. i am not sure about the rest of the team

He'll be the third option, a very secure 3rd option. He can create his own shot from what I've heard, he can spot up, he'll be getting hte ball on kick-outs by Kobe, he'll be getting shots on double teams based on Lamar and Kobe. All the opportunities will be there for Rad, and I think he'll capitalize. Off of the bench for the Clippers, he averaged 6 RPG, I think as a starter he can grab a couple more. I expect him to play anywhere from 35-39 MPG. As for Kobe, I think you're wrong on the PPG average. I think he has learned to trust his teammates, and we'll see him up his assists and drop his PPG average a little bit. He wanted Vlad on this team, he knows he'll have to give up shots for the team's sake, and he'll do it. Kobe wants to win. He knows winning is a team effort, and he'll show it this year more than ever.
I think Lamar and Kobe are about right....Kwame has potential to score that every game...and Vlad I seem him scoring 15...
Smush Parker: 8.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 3.2 apg, 1.4 spg Kobe Bryant: 30.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 6.0 apg, 1.8 spg Vlad Radman: 15.8 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 2.0 apg, .8 spg Lamar Odom: 16.4 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 6.3 apg, 1.2 spg Kwame Brown: 9.6 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 1.1 apg, .7 spg This is completely assuming the Lakers start Smush, which I think they will for the beginning of the season. However, once Farmar learns the offense a little more, I can see him taking over after 35-40 games or so. Another thing to note here is Vlad. I think he's got potential to average what I've listed and maybe even more. The man is going to get plenty of open looks with Kobe demanding doubles on the perimeter and Lamar demanding them in the post. I look for him to knock in around 200 treys this year (I realize his career high is only 138, but he's never played more than 30.1 mpg, a number he will certainly eclipse this year) and that alone should help him reach a rather high ppg total. Couple that with his ability to create a shot for himself, and he should easily reach 15-18 ppg this season. As long as he's knocking down the shots, Kobe and Lamar won't be afraid to feed him, so for his sake, he best be knocking down his open looks.
Smush Parker: 7.4 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 3.9 APG, 1.9 SPG Kobe Bryant: 36.7 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 5.5 APG, 2.1 SPG Vladimir Radmanovic: 16.8 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 2.4 APG <font color=""Red"">Lamar Odom: 18.4 PPG, 11.7 RPG, 7.9 APG</font> Kwame Brown: 9.6 PPG, 8.4 RPG, 1.4 APG <font color=""red"">All-STAR?</font>
You guys are being a bit overzealous. TheBlackMamba and Moo2k4, both of you're starting lineups will average 87 ppg... that leaves approximately 15 points to distribute amongst entire bench. Unless u guys think the Lakers will average 110+ ppg or our bench is extremely thin. I think our bench will put up about 20-25ppg. With that said, this is my projection Smush: 11-4-3 Kobe: 32-6-5 Radmanovic: 12-6-2 Odom: 16-9-5 Brown: 9-8-1

At this moment it consists of Farmar, Walton, Mihm, Turiaf, and Bynum. I don't expect Farmar or Bynum to score too much this year, and the same goes for Turaf. Mihm might come off the bench for around 10 ppg and Walton might get 6 ppg or so. So to hope our starting lineup is putting up between 80-85 ppg isn't too overzealous considering the lack of scorers on the bench.

That leaves 15 points for the bench at the max. Sasha played in all 82 games last year and will be the backup PG this year. i think he will turn the corner this year but lets say he doesn't and he matches last years totals, that's 4 ppg. Lets say bynum plays more this year as we all expect and he gets 4 ppg. Luke will be our 6th man and lets say he gets 5ppg. That's already 13 points from the bench, leaving 2 points left for the other 5 guys. Lets not forget brian cook, who is still a laker until further notice and he average 8 ppg last year. New addition Maurice Evans averaged 5 ppg for the Pistons last year. The only way I see the starters hitting those totals are if we have a load of injuries and they play no where near 82 games together. As a result, those numbers would not be the most ideal of projections IMO

So, I suppose that you are right. The more I do think about it, the less likely it is that it'll happen. I also did mine without realizing we had Evans and Cook. So, now I'm gonna go up a few posts and hit the edit button...
Smush Parker: 8.0 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 2.3 APG, 1.7 SPG Kobe Bryant: 32.9 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 6.2 APG, 2.1 SPG Vladimir Radmanovic: 14.8 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 2.4 APG Lamar Odom: 17.2 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 5.8 APG Kwame Brown: 10.3 PPG, 8.1 RPG, 1.2 APG
I don't like these threads that much. I'm a bit superstitious, and I don't like jinxing our guys . With that said, I think you guys are jumping the gun and giving Vlad a bit too much credit. 15-17 ppg? 7-8 rpg? Hmmmm.
Smush - 10ppg, 3rpg, 4apg, 2spg Kobe - 32ppg, 5rpg, 6apg, 1.7spg Odom - 17ppg, 9rpg, 6apg Radmanovic - 14ppg, 7rpg, 2apg Kwame - 12ppg, 7rpg, 2bpg

Plus, he's going to get a ton of open looks from the arc with Lamar and Kobe getting double teamed. So, what you may see as far fetched, I think it's perfectly feasilble.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheBlackMamba:</div><div class="quote_post">He averaged 6 boards off of the bench for the Clippers, as a starter, 8 is not a lot to expect.</div> yea but he also played 30 minutes per game off the bench. With Luke as our 6th man, I dont expect Radmanovic to play much more minutes than he did last year as a Clipp. Perhaps in the 32-33 minute range. For a guy with a career average of 4.6 rpg, 8 is a bit much. 6 is reasonable, 7 is hopeful, 8 is wishful thinking ...
I fully expect Rad to get around 35-38 MPG. Kobe, Phil, and Magic wanted him for a reason, and that's to play.
