This has the potential to be a Salmons for Udrih sign and trade. We would get a point guard and the Spurs would get Salmons. He's a good player, I'd like to see him in a Sixers uniform...

I have not seen much of Beno so I can’t really comment on how I feel about this move, but I don’t think he will make the difference be championship, and sitting home during the post season so I really don’t see this as that big a deal.

We would have been better off taking Dee Brown, Darius Washington, or Marcus Williams. I'd definitely rather keep John Salmons. He has way more upside and I think he is better right now.

Udrih showed upside in the playoffs a few years back, and then he fell off the map. Salmons for Udrih sounds nice so you can get someone half decent to back up Iverson. But, if they are thinking of trading Iverson and letting Udrih move to the starting point guard, I would definetly not approve of that one.

Eh. Like Fresh said..we would've been better off taking Dee Brown, Darius Washington, Marcus Williams in the draft. Udrih isn't a bad player, don't get me wrong..but there are definately much better out there. Plus I'd be pissed if Salmons went there and got a ring..like Claxton did.

Beno did a couple of good things when I saw him play 2 years ago during the playoffs. He can knock down shots. But then because Van Exel came in, and Parker blew up, he didn't get any playing time last season.

^Great. I would rather keep John Salmons or just sign Jay Williams then try and trade for Udrih.

Yup, I'd rather Jay. Beno for Salmons via sign and trade does make sense. Udrih is buried behind Barry, Nick and Tony and Salmons is a bigger guard than those three so it would be easier to get minutes in ADDITION the Spurs always like Salmons, they did draft him but just sent him to Philly.

Yes Beno didn't really have much of a chance in NBA his position was filled with Parker... But I remember him playing in EuroLeague for Union Olimpija and belive me he is amazing. Also Popovič really likes him and Beno takes every chance he gets !!!

For all those who don't know Beno well I think you should watch World Championship in August where Slovenia will play against USA ' cos it will be a great Match NBA vs. NBA.

BTW Slovenia will play with players like udrih, sa?a vujačič, bo?tjan nachbar, primo? brezec, ra?o nesterovič and than with best European players so you should really watch this match USA VS SLO [IMG]
