    Successful Scenario
Due to Portland and New York being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Portland and New York had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. </div>

This would be a real good move for the Trail Blazers. In there final efforts to clean out the house, they final get rid of Darius Miles and Zach Randolph. Randolph has proved to be a very succesful and productive player in this league, he has just made it clear that he will play anywhere other then Portland. So in exchange for these two, Portland gets a huge expring contract, and a solid young player in David Lee that could play a nice role for Portland off the bench a few years down the road.

Is this something you just made up or is it an actual rumor?

Nope. The Blazers sent Randy Foye and cash to Minnesota for Brandon Roy.

if that trade does indeed go down, think about the knicks team salary. if isiahi is smart, he will not accept this trade. why? not only are you bringing in two VERY overpaid players, but two team cancers as well, and two guys who will not work hard at all. once the knicks get sick of those two, it will most likely be impossible to trade them
