I agree. Butler seems more ideal, but shouldn't the Magic be looking into defensive-minded 2 guards? Especially since Stevenson might be on his way out.
If they get Rush that would be a great signing I loved what Rush provided the Lakers with during there run a couple years ago. Although, they did not win the championship Rush was a huge key in them getting to the finals. I believe he hit what five threes in the western conference finals? Anyway, great pick up if you get him. In addition, you can probably get him cheap since teams are shying away because of “attitude” problems. I heard Phil wants him back in LA though. Flip Murry would be another solid pick up. When he got playing time in Seattle, he was averaging about 20 points a game. Then Ray Allen came back and Flip’s scoring went down. In Cleveland, he showed he could score. I think he can do the same for Orlando. I am not so sure about Rasual Butler though. He has hit some nice three pointers, and can provide you with some perimeter offense, but it is the same thing Redick does.
Murray could make a good fit, because he could score. But like Prince said, it could hurt Redicks developement because he probably won't play as much.
Ok that worries me. The point of drafting JJ was for a three point threat. They have it, so why are they gonna get another.. I hope if they do plan on picking up one of thse guys they have plans to pick up someone who can play defense.

Isn't Rush an above average defender? I know Rasual Butler is defensive minded, which we need. It'd just be so much easier to just resign Stevenson to 4-5 mil.
Looks like we got some competition: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Detroit News - Sources have told Rob Parker that the Detroit Pistons are interested in acquiring Flip Murray, free agent of the Cleveland Cavaliers .
