<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">In his first interview since being criticized for failing to play for the Serbian National Team, Nenad Krstic says he decided against playing in the Worlds because Serbian officials tried to blackmail him. Speaking with the Kurier of Belgrade, Krstic said he was told that if he didn't play, basketball association officials might push to have him drafted into the Serbian military. Krstic, who is in his hometown of Kraljevo, said that was "counter productive". He promised to play for Serbia in the future.</div>

I just noticed the part where he said he would play in the near future. How can you play for a team that is blackmailing you? I would never show my face in that locker room. I would spit in the face of the officials than play for them ever again.
