I think Steven Smith is going to replace Shavlik Randolph on the roster. Every year we seem to have an undrafted free agent, or someone come in and contribute solid minutes to our squad. Just a few off the top of my head Zendon Hamilton, Shavlik Randolph, and this year more than likely it will be Steven Smith. I think that at the very least he will be with us for the start of the season.

im really hoping that steve can make the roster too, but in place of shav? i think shav is here to stay. the guy showed last season that he can play, and he did what 99% of our roster didnt last season, play with heart.

Smith did play the 4 alot in college, but he'll be a 3 in the NBA. He's a local kid with alot skills that could help us out..gives us depth too.

Shav is nothing special, you can pick up a guy like him any time.

Bingo. Just like Kyle Korver. You can shake a tree and find around 5-6 guys that can hit the three ball in every draft class. There's no reason he should be starting.

Honestly, I would like to see what Willie Green can do in the pre-season. I'm a little surprised he's not on the summer league roster being it would be a great way to continue to get back to normal. If Iverson is out then Willie should start at the two, taking Carney off the bench (as he did often times in Memphis). Anyone remember Willie's performances when Iverson was out with injuries? He was averging a good 20-23 points a game.

MAN, IF SHAV IS NOT ON THE ROSTER.... I'm going to go crazy. Yes, he's raw as hell but this guy would change the game for us with his toughness and hustle. I love Shav, he better be on the roster.
