I don't think a deal will work out. Everyone player that the Nuggets are interested in, Dallas isn't willing to give away.
I would give Stack to get Kmart. He would be a great backup PF and a change of pace from dirk. Throw in some filler and we've got ourselves a deal. Hopefully Ager can produce right away; Stack isnt getting any younger either.
Why would Dallas want K-Mart's contract? Stack gives a nice scoring option off the bench, while K-Mart is pretty much a non-factor on offense after his knee injury. This dude can't hit the midrange J consistently enough, and his around the basket game is mediocre at best. He is also undersized. I'd take aging but still effective Stack over undersized and overpaid Martin.
Why would they want to do something stupid like that. They have a strong core that got them to the finals. Why make a MAJOR change like that.. And you know K-Mart won't agree with coming off the bench. Plus that contract is huge for a bench player.

I still think Kmart is a much better PF that could play behind Dirk than our current backup. Croshere or Kenyon Martin? You pick. The only question would be whether or not he would accept the backup role. If he agreed, i would pull the trigger.

YEah that;s why he wants to leave Denver in the first place. He kept getting pulled outta the game. So why would he want to come to a team and just come off the bench? Anybody see a possibilty of Dirk and Kenyon playing at thesame time? MAybe switch positions in transition defense or something.
We would only be able to use that matchup against a handful of teams in the league since Kenyon is undersized and Dirk isn't a banger. Now that we actually have a few pure centers who can play I don't think we want to go back to playing undersized and without much interior defense.
It's worth getting Kenyon if only for the reason that he will make Dirk play in the paint more and with more swagger. although kenyon is kind of a thug player would be a weird mix of him and the more bookish Dirk.
Stackhouse is a tougher player than KMart. I would laugh at Denver if they requested Stackhouse for Kenyon. Both teams KMart has played for he's become a distraction and he's been exposed without Kidd making offense easy for him. Watch KMart the last few seasons, he doesn't really take it to the rim much, he settles for those mid range jumpshots. Occasionally he'll get set up for a lob, but his injuries have limited his explosiveness to getting to the basket.
Good point, I forgot about the post-injury Martin that just stands out around 15 feet and takes jumpers. I was thinking pre-injury Kmart who would finish explosively and be a difference maker on both ends of the court.
Plus the Kenyon Martin who gets 13 million for him coming off the bench in Dallas? That's ridiculous even him at full health. What are some of you Dallas guys smokin? Some new Isiah weed?
Jamison Why did they ever do that Stack for Jamison trade? Trading a 20, 9, and 39%-from-the-arc guy...
Because at the time, Jamison was just a stackhouse of sorts. HE wasnt this starting PF allstar for wizards but he was at the time 6th man of the year. Plus if im not mistaken we got HArris out of the deal.
