Until the bears actually lose majorly because of him I say keep him in but I see what your talking about.
Well I think Grossman is a BUST like most Florida QB's but Orton did play awful. I don't think Grossman could give you much more than Orton. Maybe a little but how rusty will he be and a change of pace could throw their "team" off a bit. Now if Chicago gets homefield advantage they'll be dangerous. They play well in the cold and at Soilder Field. If they play a team out west like Seattle or indoors like Atlanta I think they would have major problems.

Without one you won't win the NFC. Pittsburgh vs Chicago is going to be a good old school type of game next week though.

However, can win NFC with right playoff draws. This D just has to do what 85 bears did in playoffs, not giveup any points, and then you cant lose

This one in my opinion isn't as good as that team and has a long way too go. One thing that can often slow down a team is controversy and if Grossman comes in for Orton that could end up hurting the team with chemistry. I did agree with the announcers about what they said about the Bears are young football team and probably will be at least near the top of the division for a couple of years.
As long as they have a dominant defense, and good running game, and a QB who doesn't turnover the ball, I think he's safe.
That's the thing, though, he is prone to turn over the ball. I watched part of this game and listened to the rest on the radio (I am in Chicago this weekend)...Orton played horribly. You can't really blame him, he has no one to throw to and is a rookie QB, but the boy just isn't learning. I don't think Grossman would be much better. Next week will be fun...I have a feeling the Steelers are going to rip the Bears apart.

When you say he doesn't have anyone to throw to is what I disagree with. Muhammed is a solid WR in the league. He should be more than enough of a target for Orton too get the ball to.

I'm not saying they wont be beaten, but I really can't see anyone tearing them apart!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (GoChiagobears)</div><div class='quotemain'>ok vikings? who are you to talk beat some body good.</div> Giants on the road. He makes a point. Once you get too the playoffs and you play GOOD teams, you need some sort of a passing attack to go far. I'm not saying they'll get one and done. I'm saying if they want to reach the Super Bowl Let alone win it then Orton is going too need to step up his game a lot. I thought he would get better as the year went on but he's be inconsistent all season long.
