Thats just awesome, Paul is soo important to this city (I just hope what Pierce's agent is saying is true). Pierce is the face of this franchise and I pray he ends his career in Boston, so they can retire his number, and hopefully by that point he will have brought the Celts some more Championships. I give Pierce all the credit in the world for sticking with this team for as long as he has. He had/has the option to play for a contender and win a championship, but he has remained in Boston. That is why it is so important for Ainge to reel in a guy like Iverson to play along side Pierce, in order to grant Pierce's wishes of winning a title. I hope he doesn't decide to sign a long term contract and then be stuck here for the next 6 years of his career and try to win a title on his own, which I don't think he could do. Hes a hell of a player, but he needs a little help! I hope he stays, for GOOD!
Pierce needs help if he's going to stay in Boston for another 5 years. Here's hoping all the young talent comes together before Pierce starts to go on the decline.
