<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Things are changing in Toronto. Brian Colangelo is bringing his sunny Phoenix optimism and an international flavor to the Atlantic Division, one that might not cause Jason Kidd and Rod Thorn to worry now, but soon. Martin Johnson of the New York Suns writes that with Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani as centerpieces, look for the Raptors to supplant the woeful Knicks, rebuilding Sixers, and youth-obsessed Celtics as the Nets' biggest threat. </div>

    I definitely agree.

Eventually it's going to be the Celtics and the Raptors heading the division. Both teams have a nice core of young players who can turn out nicely. The Nets have old players (VC, Kidd), the Sixers have old players (AI, Webber), and do we even have to talk about the Knicks?

It's also assuming that all other teams stay constant and don't improve themselves.

We have Jefferson, Krstic, Williams, Wright for the future. If Boone turns out to be a solid pro, then we'll be fine. We'll need a superstar though if Jefferson nor Williams do not turn into one. I doubt they will.

The Nets have this division for the next 2-3 years, but once Toronto and Bostons young talent comes together, the Nets will be taking a back seat.
