http://www.draftexpress.com/viewarticle.php?a=1402 looks like its the reported 3 years at 12 million. i don't know what garbosa is going to be like in the nba but i assure u this- anthony parker will be considered for the nba's most improved player if he qualifies. in that preseason game against the raps last season he ran circles around mo. pete. i acknowledge our raps have a hard time getting up for sunday regular season games which means they probably didn't show up for this one but all athletes don't won't to be humilated and parker did that to the raps last year.
I'm a big believer in this Parker guy. Great pick-up by the Raps, if they do end up getting him. We need another small forward in the line-up.
Anthony Parker is a nice player, I like this pick-up just like you guys, I don't see why he wouldn't be starting for us.
i think next summer we will be talking about how much of a steal parker was at 4 million per year. another thing to keep in mind is that the raps had a hard time closing out games- to that end, parker performances is exceptional in the closing minutes of games as witnessed by his two mvp's and euroleague championship.
Great pick up for the Raptors, I was crossing my fingers hoping we'd get him. This is sweet, now we need to get someone in return for Mike James in a sign and trade and our team is looking VERY nice.
ummm.....don't u think 12 mill is alot to throw around, especially to a player who couldn't hack it in the nba in the past?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting norespect:</div><div class="quote_post">ummm.....don't u think 12 mill is alot to throw around, especially to a player who couldn't hack it in the nba in the past?</div> he was injured his last time around; he went to europe to cultivate his game just like hundreds of american players in the past. and remember he's the best player in europe.

Just wait, all the people complaining now will be all over his jock once the season starts. Then it will be ohhhh Colangelo is a genius...oh i love parker and always have. oh we have a great team. I think it is a great move by BC and I will not flip flop on it. 4 mill is peanuts considering what is out there. Who are all these free agents we SHOULD be signing???? Jeffries? Stevenson? Jones? Flip Murray? they are all so/so players at best and we would be paying more for them than parker and probably more years too. So what are all you naysayer genious wannabe GMs great plans???
Believe me, I live here in Israel, and I've seen Parker tons of times: he's a great player. Not the best of defenders, but his offensive skills are unbeleivable. At 31, he's not a long range solution, but he's a great player. I'm not sure whether he's a steal at 12 million for 3 years, when he'll be 34 and probably not nearly as good as he is now, but I'm sure you guys won't regret signing him.

I think we could've got him for a bit cheaper but meh, its the price you gotta pay these days for good players. Its hard to get a good player without overpaying.
I think this will be good for our team. I like this signing a lot better than the Garbajosa signing. I'm guessing he will be competing for a starting spot with Graham for next season. If he doesn't start, he will be very solid as a 6th or 7th man for us off the bench. Haven't seen this guy play very much but from what I hear he is a really good shooter and a pretty decent defender. We definitely need both of those.
about 5 million dollars left in cap room to sign another player?? This is getting exciting a lot of new faces in Toronto lets keep it optimistic.

QUOTE] this dude ran circles around joey g, mo. pete and jalen rose- i'm confident he will do the same again. remember this dude was the primary option on his team- every defense including the raptor one was geared at slowing him down. btw, i noticed this on the competitors forum so decided to post it here as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2JpA6W3mZo...nthony%20parker ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=os-Dx0orSmo...nthony%20parker i apologize for the music.
