According to hoopshype.com, Kukoc would really like to return to the Bucks. Also, his agent commented that many teams are interested in him, and none of those teams are the Bucks. The article also mentioned that it should not come as a surprise if he plays for Phil Jackson next season either.
    Thoughts??????

Kukoc, old, slow. Seems to me like another Aaron Mckie. I guess it wouldn't hurt if Mitch signed him to a non guarenteed contract, and let him battle it out in camp, but we already have enough shooters IMO. Radman, Sasha, Cook, and now Shammond Williams (according to rumors). If anything, Mitch should be looking for a defensive minded player.

Kukoc is done, the Lakers better use the LLE to sign an athletic swing player or a backup center if they end up trading Mihm.

hmm... a PF/SF who is too soft to mix it up in the paint and get boards, just camps out all day at the 3, and can't play defense... yea, we don't have any of those (Cook, Radman), let's bring him along... heh

btw, this is my first message, I've been following these boards for awhile and finally decided that it was time to add my input...

Why do the Lakers always try and sign an OLD veteran. It backfired twice already with Jackson and Mckie. Anyone have news about a trade?

heh, yes, Laker fan since 3rd grade, and this board definitely seems the most active, a lot of people who actually know what they're talking about, so I'll be posting more often.

We have more than enough people that can already do what he does. We have more dire needs than an old guy that can't defend and can merely shoot. How about investing in a backup center or PF, seeing as how we're lacking depth at those two spots.

Well, I don't think you can really blame Jim Jackson. He just never really got a chance. In the limited amount of playing time he got, he looked pretty decent.

Forgot about the old DIVAC. haha. Cant really be too pissed about him though. If we didnt trade him the first time, Kobe would have never come to LA. Besides, DIVAC wanted to retire a Laker. His true home.[IMG]

Well, we got Shammond Williams instead of Kukoc. Ugh.......we need to trade Mihm and get another center that's strong and young to backup Brown.

Mihm isn't exactly old. Though if we had the chance to get a better big man we should go for it.

Stupid ads on the bottom make me think its your sig.....
