I agree, but at least his contract is up in 2 years and we could do what we wanted to with him then. At least he can make plays for his teammates and plays a true PG

Horrible trade for us IMO. From what I have heard, Mike Dunleavy is one of those players who has nice looking stats, but isn't really worth much on the court. Again, this is what I heard. But what I know is that he is very slow, and is a very streaky shooter.

Andris is a very intriguing player, he has tons of potential, but he also has tons of potential to be another center in the league. With that being said, I don't want him. He is a hit or bust type of player, and given the Sixers track record, he is most likely going to be a bust.

The only bright spot I see in this trade for us is Ike Diogu. I feel he has a lot of potential and could be a star one day in this league.

As for Baron Davis? I don't know why the Sixers would trade for B-Diddy. Baron and AI are both very similar players. They both need the ball a lot to be effective, and are both streaky shooters. Plus, they both have massive contracts. If we trade for Baron Davis, we also have to take in consideration that he might miss 20-30 games every season. Baron Davis isn't really young anymore. If we trade away AI, we will be in rebuilding phase. With that being said, I wouldn't want Baron Davis. He is old, injury prone, and makes too much money.

As for our out coming players? Korver may not have as much talent as Mike Dunleavy, considering Korver is only one-dimensional, but he is a very important part of our team. He is one of the best three point shooters in the league, and will give us a huge boost if he comes off the bench. I am a huge fan of Steve Hunter, and I hope he doesn't leave Philly soon. The guy is extremely athletic, and can create monstrous dunks on offense, and block a couple of shots on defense. He is also very young and has tons of potential.

If that indeed is the trade we are looking at, I would not accept. Keeping AI would be more of a benefit for this team.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheBlackMamba:</div><div class="quote_post">There have been some rumors on the net that the Warriors have inquired about Iverson. They told the Sixers to pick any three players they wanted, but not J rich and Davis together. Supposedly the Sixers have asked for Jason Richardson, Ike Diogu, and Troy Murphy. I think that's a hell of a deal for Iverson.

The Sixers would be straight ROBBING the Warriors if that deal went down. Geez, give up your leading scorer and your two best rebounders and post men???

Something doesn't need to be done, because AI isn't the problem. If you don't like rumors then just don't pay attention to the rumor mills when you see AI's name.

Don't be surprised if he is still a 76er.

    GS Not Interested Anymore?

I don`t know if I should trust RealGM or not, but I figure I`ll post the article anyways.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">San Francisco Chronicle - Two sources indicated on Tuesday that the Warriors will not pursue Allen Iverson. They were rumored to be one of the clubs heavily interested in the Sixers' guard.

They will instead lean their hopes on Baron Davis, who struggled to stay healthy in his first full season with Golden State.</div>

I`m really starting to doubt if any AI deal will go down at all...

The longer this goes without any real signs of a trade, the less and less I believe it. At this point, I think AI will be here when the season starts.

If BK wanted a deal done, it would of been agreed to by now. He just doesn`t want to let go of AI.

Billy King is AI's *****. Seriously now, if we are going to trade away AI, it has to be now. Which direction are we going as a team? Do we want to win now? Or do we want to build for the future? AI's trade value is really high right now, but in a couple of seasons, teams won't be willing to part ways with younger talent. If we do keep AI, Billy King has to find some way of turning this team around and making us winners.
