Cap Space Question...

    I just read that the salary cap is being raised for the 2006-2007 season on ESPN...so I want to double check if it's true..and if it is...who do you think we have the potential of attracting now or afford?

    It's not going to be a significant enough increase for us to pursue anyone else. I think the estimate is just $2 or $3 million.

    Its 53 million, which is like 4 million more than it was last year I think.

    Thanks for the actual figure. It doesn't effect the Lakers though, we still have Brian Grant's contract on the books, so the Lakers cap number is close to $70Million.

    Briant Grants contract sucks. Trading Shaq for Briant Grant. Still twists up my stomach. Mitch should have pushed hard for Wade and Odom tandem for Shaq.
