Yes but the bodies are similar and i believe after seeing his career slip away he'd be good as a pf for us but even if he doesn't play there he still benefits us in that he is a good defender.

Yeah, a good defender on the perimeter, but not in the post. George shouldn't even be a backup power forward, let alone your proposal of letting him start. We'd have more success starting either Howard or Hayes, and that's not saying much.

He can bring a lot more to this team if we can get him focuses wheter we can get him to be focused or not i don't know but he has the strength and enough size to defend posts one on one unlike our pfs.

Devean George has more size than Juwan Howard? He's 6-8, 235. Howard is 6-9, 230. Just because George weighs five pounds more doesn't mean he's stronger. Lebron James is 240 lbs, but that doesn't mean he can guard the post as well. Meanwhile, Kevin Garnett is 220 lbs. Does that mean Lebron should guard the post better than Garnett?

Stop making assumptions. If you've seen George play at least once, you'd know he'll never be a power forward for a winning team.

Devean george is a perimetere player
hes a good three point shooter.

He would make an impact on this team and be our 6th or 7th man.

Umm they don't always go by their true heights like garnett isn't 6'11" his true height is 7'1" or duncan is 6'11" he is 7ft if you've seen them in real life. Devean is 6'9" i don't know Juwan Howard's true height though so i don't know. but he's been a good perimeter defender his whole carreer but he has the strength to definetly play defence in the interior though he has never played there his career.

Be realistic PLEASE. You don't find a guy with the same height and specifications as Shawn Marion and then immediately say that he can play PF and play a semi-Marionish role. Like Locke said, Marion has always been a great rebounder and I think thats what made them decide to play him at PF temporarily during the last 2 seasons. Has George ever been a 10+ rebund guy? I don't think so.

Its nothing like that but you look at the way he plays perimeter defence and he is always physical with his defenders so i mean the post is more physical so wouldn't his defence be =ly good there.

Gary Payton was a physical perimeter defender; why not stick him there at PF too? You're whole opinion is based on assumptions. Since he's this, why not that? Blah blah blah...

If George was capable of playing PF I'm sure Phil would have put him at PF a long time ago [IMG]
