i've been looking but i can't find anything new about the battier-gay, swift trade. so if someone will please enlighten me on the situation.
3 days have started If on July 15 Stromile doesnt report to the grizzlies. He is fined...suspended...and the Trade is rescinded.

It gives the Grizzlies the oppurtunity to rescind the deal, but I don't they will do that since their main target was Rudy Gay. Stro will just be suspended and will probably get traded as soon as its possible. This trade coupled with the Mike James non-signing makes this a very bad offseason by the Rockets.

He has a huge contract, and if he gets suspended, it will scare some teams off because they will think he has a bad attitude.

If Stro doesn't show at Memphis he will go somewhere.

Last I checked, they were trying to trade Richard Jefferson to get more cap space.
