<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Sounds rediculous, but that's what's being reported up here in Sacramento by Grant Napear (TV play-by-play guy, also does radio in the afternoon). He's reporting on local radio here in Sacramento that Bonzi to the Pacers in a sign-and-trade for Foster and Jasikevicius is pretty much a done deal. He says up to 4 other teams will be involved and that it will go down officially Wednesday afternoon. Apparently he claims it was leaked to him through a player of the Kings, who heard it from Bonzi's agent. Teams that have been linked potentially are the Bucks (Magloire), Hawks (Harrington), and the Warriors (Murphy). I'm definitely not taking this too seriously because first of all, Grant Napear doesn't carry a whole lot of credibilty with me. I've watched him broadcast Kings games for years. He gets so biased that the Kings own fans start complaining in the local paper about it. Secondly, it just sounds to outrageous to happen. But, he does have access to players (he was really close to Peja when he was here, apparently Peja told he was going to be traded by the Kings to Napear himself), so take it for what you want. It's not the offseason without a few good rumors to ponder...</div> I got this off another forum I go to. I hear the 5th and 6th teams is possibly Nuggets and they'll most likely ship off Kenyon Martin and Utah to complete the Fisher deal. It's just a rumor, but if it's going down, it's happening, it's happening soon.
8 Teams, 19 Players <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">According to multiple sources, in a story broken by Sacramento's Grant Napier on Tuesday evening sports radio, owners and general managers are scrambling to put the finishing touches on a massive 8 team trade. Originally slated to include 6 teams and 16 players two other clubs jumped in on the action Wednesday night bringing the total players involved to as many as 19. The Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers may go down as the franchise who started it all with their heavy shopping of guard Allen Iverson. Golden State is rumored to be the new home of the electric guard who has NBA Finals experience, an All-Star game MVP trophy, and a league leader in scoring to his credit. Golden State is set to send out forward Troy Murphy in the deal. The Denver Nuggets are looking to settle the fued between head coach George Karl and disgruntled and oft-injured power forward Kenyon Martin. The New York Knicks have coveted Martin seeking to place the rugged forward alongside Eddy Curry. The Knicks are set to send out Steve Francis to make room for KMart. Also outgoing from Denver would be guard Andre Miller. The Sacramento Kings appear on the verge of losing guard Bonzi Wells but will seek to sign and trade him in this massive scenerio. Meanwhile the Indiana Pacers will be sending out forward/center Jeff Foster, guard Jamaal Tinsley, and forward Stephen Jackson. The Atlanta Hawks are in the action looking to sign and trade forward Al Harrington. The Seattle Supersonics are rumored to be the 8th team as they are looking to sign and trade Chris Wilcox who's contract negotiations have come to an impasse. Eight other players are involved in order to make the salaries match under the current CBA rules. A huge press conference is scheduled for Friday afternoon as long as all parties can agree and the league approves this NBA record sized transaction. </div> link: http://www.ezekielbearsports.com/index.php...&id=74&Itemid=1 Apparently now there will be 8 teams involved with as many as 19 players.
Denver, Atlanta, Seattle, Sacramento, New York, Indiana, Philly, and Golden St. are in this. That's going to be one fatass trade.....
I wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens at all. If one single team backs out of the trade, then the deal will most likely be dead.
Wow this is going to be soo interesting. I wonder who all the players that are involved, and to which team is going to get each of them. Well we pretty much know that Martin, Iverson,Harrington, Marbury and/or Francis are involved in this deal.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King23James:</div><div class="quote_post">so ai is being moved?</div> According to the article, he's supposedly going to Golden State
This is very interesting indeed. Sounds like a big mess at the moment, trying to organize somthing like this must be hell. It would be funny if some one got traded to the wrong team
