"Paul's been one of the great Celtics of all time in my opinion -- one of the top players to ever put on a Celtic uniform," said director of basketball operations Danny Ainge. Im sooo happy I give Pierce all the credit in the world, for sticking around, he appreciates the Celtic traditions and he truly does want to be apart of this "biulding" process.
some people told me that one of the reasons Pierce got a contract extension is because Danny Ainge guarenteed that another All-Star would be signed for this season (AI?).....is there any truth to this?

haha Pierce wants to be here, and that's why he signed...however DA is trying to get us another all-star. I was wondering, what does everyone else think of the potential AI deal? Would you want him here? I've thought about it a lot and am really not sure what to think, even though Pierce insists that they would be a good duo. I'm also very afraid of trading our young guys, because I know if we keep them then we are going to be championship contenders in a few years
