I don't know if I did the link right, but it's been reported on hoopshype that Wesley is signing with the Cavaliers. It seems the Rockets are for some reason satisfied with our team right now. I never liked Wesley since Stackhouse exposed him in the playoffs, but damn CD, couldn't we have pulled off a sign & trade and got compensated. Even without Wesley, we have one of the oldest teams, and prolly are the SLOWEST team in the NBA. We've lost Bogans, bout to lose Wesley, simply GAVE away the extremley athletic Rudy Gay & Stro, and only got Battie in return[IMG] . (the only player we've made the effort to bring back is the great Chuck Hayes[IMG])

If we don't make some serious signings or trades, somebody needs to be fired asap. Our front office must think this is 1996 or something. The league has evolved and the Rockets are the only team that hasn't seemed to catch on. Anwayz, even with my dislike for Wesley he played very hard for his size. Maybe he'll follow the trend of former Rockets who go to other teams and play great.

Thats great the Cavs can enjoy a slow 6'1" guard who has problems shootin the ball and too short to cover anyone. NO team would S&T for him

You were correct until you started continuing to ramble.

Wesley CAN shoot the ball well--he's hovered near 40% from 3 for most of his career. He's one of the better defenders at guarding strong guards who can post, and he can defend 2 positions.

It's a decent pickup for Cleveland.

I think he is there to mentor Shannon Brown.

Why would Cleveland want to sign and trade when they could offer the same deal? The Rockets don't have any advantages when it comes to signing Wesley.

No, Wesley shot terribly from three in maybe the first twenty games because of the knee surgery he had, which did not allow him to get the strength needed from his legs.

On the season, Wesley shot 36.5% from three, pretty much on par with his career numbers of 37%, and averaged almost 1.5 threes a game.

Wesley at his best could become a solid fill-in after Flip`s departure.
