So who gets the tiebreaker between the Bucs and Panthers? Also if the vikings win vs the BEars who has the tiebreaker?

If there is tie head to head(vikes-bears) it goes to divisional record, then record vs like opponents, then conference record, then it gets into margin of victory i think, then last tiebreak is coinflip

has there ever been a coin flip? i would doubt it...

to be honest, i think they should play a final game for the tie break, winner, goes to playoffs

There has been one in determining #1 vs #2 pick in draft. Steelers won that toss and got Bradshaw

    NYG 9-4: KC, @Wash, @Oakland

    Dallas 8-5: @Wash, @Carolina, St Louis

    Wash 7-6: Dallas, NYG, @Philly

    Chicago 9-4: Atlanta, @GB, @Minn

    Minn 8-5: Pitt, @Balt, Chicago

    Carolina 9-4: @NO, Dallas, @Atlanta

    TB 9-4: @NE, Atlanta, NO

    Atlanta 7-5: NO, @Chicago, @TB, Atlanta

    Seattle 11-2 - @Tenn, Indy, @GB

Lots of stuff can happen in here. ook at all the intra-divisional games in the South. Looks like its best if I root against Minnesota and Atlanta because it doesn't look like Dallas will do better than 10-6.

I'll tell you what. Right now I like Washington to win out @ home against Dallas and the Giants and on the road against the Eagles to finish 10-6 and maybe pending what the Giants and Cowboys do. Win the divsion. If they do win-out I believe that gives them a 5-1 divsion record which would give them the NFC East. Don't sleep on the Skins.

Atlanta ends the season against itself? Sounds a little unfair if u ask me. [IMG]

HAHA beat me to it. Lets see the chances of the Cowboys and Giants losing to the Redskins are slim and the both the Giants and Cowboys going 1-2 for the remainder of the season. Possible but a ver small possibility.

    Scheduling error uncovered
    By Pete Prisco
    CBS SportsLine.com Senior Writer
    Tell Pete your opinion!

For weeks now, the Atlanta Falcons have been planning an intra-squad game to close their season. Sources close to the situation say the team has been trying to figure out how to play Vick in the game. Most believed that Vick would play offense both ways in order to pad his passing stats enough to look good.

However, thanks to an undercover league office employee, known as bakes781 at nfl-forums.com, the scheduling problem has been uncovered. Carolina will now be the season-closing opponent for the Falcons, although Atlanta will retain the home-game rights. Vick, who is considered a "tough" player, had no comment after sitting out the rest of the last game with sore ribs.

    Thanks bakes [IMG]

Would u be all that surprised if Chicago lost 2 of their last 3 inlcuding their final game in Minnesota & then ended up tied with the Vikings? In that scenario who would win the tie breaker? I assume it woulld come down to common opponents?

Well, it depends on if the Bears beat the Pack. If they beat the Pack, then they win the tiebreaker...but if they lose, then the Vikings will have the better conference record.

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Bears lose the rest of their games. I think Atlanta can beat them and I think Minnesota can. GB is the one that's up in the air but I do think at home in December we have a realistic chance at beating them.
