What do you guys feel of Jared Jeffries? He can play the both foward posistions, as well as some gaurd (did some for Washington), and is quick, athletic, and a great defender. We wouldn't lose much defense with Jason Collins going to the bench, and definitely not offense seeing how Jason doesn't ever look to score. He's athletic and runs the break well so he could a K-Mart lite for a us and becomes a fast break option that we haven't had from the 4-5 posistion. He's a versatile defender, gaurding from LeBron to Jermaine O'Neal. If we need someone to cover Timmy D or Shaq, we could bring Twin off the bench (though no one stops those guys). I'd like to see us make an effort to get him if no one else.
we can't give up the full MLE, we need to use some of it to get a shooter. unless we trade for one, but I doubt Jeffries would come for 5 million a year anyway.
I like his game, he can come in and play positions 2-4 and give solid defense. However, I'd rather acquire instant offense off the bench; we could use someone who can knock down open shots with Kidd and Williams running the point.

They should if he comes for the MLE, unless they are going for some one else that they need more then him.
