What other moves do the Wizards need to make this off-season? They've already brung in Darius Songaila for inside presense and they're close to re-signing Jared Jeffries to that 1 year deal. The question is, what else do they need to do to this off-season? Who should they have their eye on in the summer league?
I think a lot of the Wizards are hoping Blatche can produce next year. He's tearing it up in summer league, hopefully that can translate into the real game.
The only thing that should worry the Wiz are Blatche's high turnover rate and fouls, but other then that, he's looking great... as for the question, I think they've improved a lot, not sure what else they can really do with the funds they have.
THis team is deoending on the development of Ramos and Blatche. They have a nba championship caliber backcourt in arenas daniels butler hayes(when healthy)Atkins(if they resign). If those 2 can develop into good players look out!I think they should pull an Allen Iverson and move arenas to the 2-gaurd spot. Hes an elite scorer. Bit he had many costly turnovers in the playoffs. A veteran gaurd like daniels can run point.Arenas is in that new wave of combo gaurds like wade Iverson and look where their most affective. At the 2gaurd.

I don't really see Arenas and Daniels in the same lineup because Daniels doesn't tend to pass match when he's in the game. He's a lot better off the bench revamping the offense when Arenas is off, Daniels is almost unstoppable driving to the right lane. It wouldn't be bad to try it, but I'd keep Gilbert at the 1-guard spot.

In san antonio he just broght the ball up the court and got them into there offense. Daniels won a championship with this role for san antonio and hes only gotten to be a better role player. its just how the coach uses him.In seattle and washington hes been more of a scorer off the bench like you said. Eddie jordan can mold him back into what he was. Thats what coaching is for.If hayes is healthy than he can be that spark off the bench and daniels may start at pg. Hayes is a better scorer. So iguess that makes daniels 3rd string in your opinion.Arenas can still run the point at times but in the 4th he should be a 2 gaurd. Hell be able to be affective without the ball for easier shots.Him at pg in the 4th is too much for one player.Score, assist,Fast break .Set the offense, Call the defense, has the ball to much.

Well, Arenas playing off the ball most of the times doesn't sound bad. He tends to take too many shots and ending up shooting at a bad percentage or cause too many turnovers.
The team still needs another SG. I'm not too big on Deshawn Stevenson, but it seems like he might be a target. I'm also still not satisfied with the outside shooting because all we really have that's set is Arenas and Jamison. Butler can shoot, but he's not a three point shooter.
