I saw the line for the Bears/Steelers was Steelers by 5 and 1/2....dear god, take the points....the Steelers might not even score 5 in the game....id think the Steelers would be doing well if they got 10 in the game, so thats a lot of points to get....Ive never placed a bet on a game(other than friendlys), but I might have to make an exception....

I bet $20, and I get 0 points. I bet that after grossman went down, but before season started

Pitt is going too win...... I hope.....

Chicago needs a passing attack to come out on top. Pittsburgh is great against the run and weaker against the pass. Look for a 6-3 type of game. [IMG]

Something to consider: Chicago is the league's best defense inside its 20, allowing just six touchdowns in 30 possessions -- a league-leading 20 percent rate of success. No one else is under 40.

That is how good the bears Defense is, and why ortons play doesnt matter.

LOL. Its so sad, but I have to write what immediately came to mind. Is that like comparing a guy who wears womens lingerie under his clothes versus over them? It also reminds me the "Two kinds of crazy" speech by the ex-assistant coach in Hoosiers.

Thats exactly why Im thinking about taking the points and placing a bet for the 1st time in my life....5 and 1/2 in a game thats likely to feature less than 20 total points is a lot....

That's why I don't pay attention to any lines. They're rarely right..

This is going to be an old school style of game. Something different. Lately we see more of the Cincy vs Indy type of games but this is going be just the opposite of it. I only like Pitt because they are at home. In Chicago though, The Bears would have them. The atmosphere is insane when the defense takes the field..

Beef... don't do it. Don't let your friendship with BF1 sway you on throwing away your money. The AFC is a stronger conference featuring better teams. The Bears won't win in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are desperate and at home. They will win by 10 or more.

Don't make me say, "I told you so." Adding insult to injury when you lose money.

Unless the D scores points (which is possible), then I do not see Chi winning. You need to score some points to win, and I don't think 6-9 points will beat Pitt.

Ok, I am not a fan of the Steelers or a team of the NFC North thus i'm more rational than VF, Steelerfan_2005, Porky, BF1, and GoChiagobears combined so listen to this: The Steelers are 3-3 at home and the Bears have a winning road record. The Steelers have a banged up offense and are now faceing the no. 1 defense in the NFC and I know the Bears offense is so god-awful but there has been nothing special about the Steelers defense lately (101 PA in the last four games).

vikings fan come on? weather you score points or not the fact is at the end of the game you have more than the other team. but with mike out most likely its going to be hard to see how our Defence takes this.

5 1/2 points is a sucker bet. Pittsburgh will win by no less than 10.
