I realize that reading too much into summer league stats probably isn't wise, but I wanted to do a quick comparison between the top 3 SGs in the draft. Statistically, they've performed surprisingly similar thus far:
CODE

<font color=""Navy"">mpgpts/35reb/35ast/35stl/35blk/35to/35TS%GS/35
Roy26.425.24.54.80.80.54.271.0%21.6
Foye32.826.54.52.32.30.44.162.2%20.4
Brewer26.323.64.72.31.70.72.066.0%21.1

They've only played a handful of games, so again I probably shouldn't read too much into these for projecting what they'll do in their rookie campaigns. I will say that I considered Brewer a steal at the 14th pick, and what he's done in summer league (through 4 games) is consistent with that. I expect Brewer to turn out to be a better player than Foye. What are your thoughts on how these three players will perform in the NBA?
I think that foye will end up better than brewer he can play one or two and put up big numbers, of course this was in college and the L is a whole different story.
Foye was the best performer imo. i heard that foyes assists, steals, and turnover stats were clearly wrong

Without seeing either actually play, I can't make any strong judgements on their summer-league performance. I do think Brewer did put up better numbers in college. I think his physical abilities and skill-set will translate very well to the NBA. The only thing that might hold him back early on is playing time. Foye will definitely be a starter, but I suspect Brewer will be coming off the bench. Sloan will favor Harpring over him, which I think will be a big mistake. How about between Roy and Foye? Who'll have the better rookie season? I saw Roy's 35-point summer-league game the other day on NBA-TV. He was phenomenal, in all facets. He scored inside, outside, and every way in between, and he made it look so easy. He's going to be really good.
I like Roy, Brewer, Foye in that order. Roy and Brewer are more complete players. Foye might avg more points then both of them, but Roy and Brewer will put up numbers across the board.

Foye was more of a SG in college and doesn't have the passing skills Brewer has. I can see Brewer really suprising everyone, he's in a system that will benifit him and Sloan will help him become more of a tough gritty player.
For a supposed pg on the Wolves, Foye did very little to display his passing and playmaking skills in summer league. I can see Roy becoming a superstar in this league. Watching him in summer league, he seemed like a veteran out there. I haven't seen Brewer play ever, but from what I hear, he has tons of potential.

I can see Foye becomign a standout in 1-2, maybe 3 years. His best comparison IMO would be like a Chauncey Billups.
