<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Flip Saunders has a message for Carlos Delfino: Put up and shut up. Delfino reportedly popped off to a reporter in his native Argentina last week that he didn't want to stay in Detroit because of a lack of playing time. Delfino shared time with Maurice Evans last season, but Evans was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on draft night. Delfino is penciled in as the primary backup to Tayshaun Prince this season. "If he can't produce and get minutes right now in the situation he's in, he's got no one to fault but himself," Saunders said. "You've got Tayshaun Prince and Carlos Delfino (at small forward). He's got no one else he's really fighting for at that spot." </div> Source
Delfino should see a lot more time this season, since Maurice Evans is out of the picture. He needs to put up some decent numbers this season with what he said.

Im not saying hes very good but he just dosent have the playing time here. Other teams will be interested in developing him.

"I want to leave Detroit, but they don't let me go," said Delfino. "I had a pretty good offer from Washington and others from the Lakers and the Nuggets, but Detroit will only let me go to play in Europe. The FC Barcelona interest is true, but I would rather play in Italy", said Delfino. [READ]</div> Source
What a whiner. He's told he's going to get more minutes but doesn't want to stay. Apparently he's afraid of the pressure to have to produce this upcoming season. Definitely doesn't have the mindset you need to succeed in the NBA...
Pistons Say Delfino Hasn't Told Them He Wants Out <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Pistons Say Delfino Hasn't Told Them He Wants Out 25th July, 2006 - 8:48 am Grand Rapids Press - The Pistons reportedly are not putting much stock in an interview that Carlos Delfino had with La Nacion. Delfino told the Spanish-language media outlet that he would like out of Detroit but that the club is refusing to trade him away. "In our face-to-face meetings, he has given us every indication that he wants to play in Detroit, that he doesn't want to be traded, and that he wants to be the best NBA player he can be," John Hammond, Detroit's vice president of basketball operations, said on Monday. "We fully expect him to come in and be a player that will contribute this season."</div> Source
Get rid of him I say. We dont need any whiners on the team, I'd rather see his minutes go to Flip than Delfino playing.
The Detroit Pistons really really have to be ashamed of their international scouting, they really could do a better job then this.

wow this can get really messy, i think if someone is unhappy on your team, you fix it immediately. Reminds me of Ron Artest, and we all know how that turned out...but then again, he's no ron artest lol.
