Shelden hasn't been doing too great though.

Seeing this has to make Al Harrington that much more expendable. If Williams is playing like this, it has to give him confidence of what he can do come the actual NBA play. And, while I'm certain he can't do this during the year, I'm sure he can boost his average up around 12-14ppg, which is plenty respectable for someone his age and only in their second year.

Anyone paying attention to how much he's getting to the line? Wow, he was averaging 25 PPG last time I checked.

He slowed flashes of why he was picked #2 last year near the end of the year. I wonder how him and Smith are going to work out in the front court. Smith+Marvin+Sheldon = Big Time 6'9 blocking frontline

    PG: Speedy Claxton
    SG: Joe Johnson
    SF: Josh Smith
    PF: Shelden Williams
    -C: Zaza Pachulia

We might see something like this during some point in the season:

    PG: Speedy Claxton
    SG: Joe Johnson
    -F: Josh Smith
    -F: Marvin Williams
    -C: Shelden Williams

From how he's played so far, I doubt Shelden Williams will be the starter this season, at least in the beginning. You'll probably see:

    SF/PF - Marvin Williams
    PF/SF - Josh Smith
    instead.

Marvin, this guy I hated the pick to be honest, well as you look back on it I think just about everyone did. I did because of Paul being drafted after him. But, least he is trying to prove why he was picked second by the Hawks. He will be starting though like og15 said. Shelden won't be starting at the start for sure.
