No, that's not what I was inferring at all. What I meant was that it would've taken a really incompetent GM to not sign Shaq, with the money there and Shaq wanting to come to LA anyway.

I know Shaq wanted out after his last season in LA. Also, sorry about my posts, I get very passionate talking about my lakers.

No problem, man. It's great to have new Laker fans here, I just need you to follow the guidelines.

I don't think Amare will touch Dwight when it boils down to dominance. Dwight owns the paint, I can easily see him being the new "Deisel".

Dwight is my favorite center in the league. He is still raw, but his game has improved leaps and bounds. He is a rebounding machine. If he can develop a better post game, he'll be the BEAST in the EAST.

Oh, I completely agree. In the future, I believe Dwight Howard will be in a league of his own for big men. I'd build a franchise around him over LeBron. Big's are hard to come buy. What SEC said was that there hasn't been a big who's came into the league out of HS and dominated like Dwight has in his first year, I was just mentioning that Amare dominated in his first year.

I hope so too, but I still think that its not an excuse... If you think about it, its his what... 2nd year? Not to mention, he BARELY gets minutes; real minutes... In my opinion, he's still in college so-to-speak, but at a professional level...

With Bynum all I have left is hope. The summer league was great but the whole "I'm tired" just ruined it for me. If he can condition himself correctly then we got a good big man.

Anyone who has followed his career knows he doesn't often give rookies a lot of minutes unless it's necessary. And, last year, with Cook, Mihm, and Kwame, it really wasn't necessary, so he didn't.
