Hey what do you guys think about us trading for luther head. I think its a great idea he is a great three point shooter and can create his own shot kind of like an eddie house but better at defence and can creat own shot and plus he has great character. Since we drafted PJ Tucker this year why don't we trade them Joey Graham since they like their defensive wings. We still have one in PJ Tucker. Plus Luther Head would be unbelivable in the run, run, run style we going to play next year. What do you guys think?

Hmmm, doesn't sound bad for me a Rocket fan. Joey Graham would be pretty good for us an athletic, young player who learned how to play defense in college, which will be a plus to JVG.

Then again, if you trade Graham, you're trading another one of your forwards, he adds nicely to your frontcourt depth, I think both teams are happy with both players, no need for a trade.

Toronto would kill for this trade. I think Graham is gone anyway, and Head would fill the lack of 3 pt. shooting.

Lack of 3 pt shooting?? Well they have Salmons, Graham, Mo Pete, Bargnani, Anthony Parker, Garbarosa, TJ Ford to jack up 3s..

    Well lets compare statistics.

    Luther Head - 8.8 Pts, 3.3 Reb, 2.7 Assist 40% FG, 36% 3P, 69.9% FT in 28.9 Minutes

    Joey Graham - 6.7 Pts, 3.1 Reb, 0.8 Assist 47% FG, 33.3% 3P, 81.2% FT in 19.8 Minutes.

The %s are off since Head jacked up more shots than Joey Graham. Plus Head playing more minutes than Graham too. I really don't see why it's necessary to acquire Head since the Raps do have Anthony Parker and John Salmons who could play the SG/SF. PG for Salmons too. Joey Graham could turn out to be an exact clone of Morris Peterson, he has the ability to, or even better. I'm not too sure about Head.

I believe the Raps should package a couple of players to get an upgrade at a certain position. Instead of just trading player for player.

Graham will never be the shooter Peterson is, and he will never be as good as Peterson on circus shots and 1/2 court shots.

Also Gotrunks226, TJ Ford doesn't jack up 3s

    Salmons? - .299 3PT%
    Graham? - .333 3PT%
    Ford? .337 3PT%

I don't know how consistent Parker is on NBA three's, so I can't consider him a 3PT shooter, but Garb is a shooter, so I'll agree with that one. There's also MoPete who is a very good 3PT shooter and has good volume too. While those other guys (Ford, Graham, Salmons) will take about 1 three a game, unless they've improved their three point shots, you can't bank on them as your outside shooters. You want outside shooters that teams will respect, they are not those type of players right now.

I agree...the only decent 3pt shooters we have are Mo Pete, Bargnani, Parker (maybe) and the rest are ayyyight. Graham, Ford and Salmons have their first option as slashers and getting baskets via driving.

I think that trade would suck. I say give graham some more time. He's got a great body that he is just learning how to use, he can jump + maybe become a defensive stopper. I honestly think his upside is a lot higher.

Doesn't Houston already have Graham's twin?

He was in Houston.. He didn't resign him after the 10-Day contract or something, so Cleveland picked him up last.. I think thats what happened.

That would be crazy, both Grahams on a team.

Difference between Graham and Head, is that Head is proven where Joey hasn't proven himself yet. Graham albeit has immense talent and potential, I don't think the Rockets would risk dealing away Head unless they were getting someone in return they felt confident could contribute immediately. Considering the Rockets lack of depth when it comes to bench players, I honestly couldn't see them make such a deal. JMO

I wanna see the Graham twins on the court at the same time playing for the same team.
