I see, that is what I did though, but you also have to look at similarity in how they play.

Iguodala you could say also a poor man's Pippen, which is basically a Richard Jefferson with better playmaking ability, so he'd be in the 5-6 APG range. Sean May's max to me is prime Clarence Weatherspoon (18 PPG 10 RPG, 1.4 BPG), I still see Okafor as a lesser Alonzo in his prime. When a guy is a scorer, you can kinda see it early on, Okafor hasn't shown signs of being a true big scorer in the NBA, but still Alonzo was a 20 PPG guy, so if he can do Alonzo without being as good a defender or shot blocker (Alonzo was a DPOY 4 BPG guy, it's not something you can just do), he's still pretty good. I see him more as a 17-19PPG type guy though.

If Ben Gordon becomes like a Mike James type player, I that's very good, I can see him beign a better scorer if a team let's him be the first option. So a Mike James type player still works. If you have him as a Mike James player but better, for a whole career he'll put up possibly better than Reggie numbers. Mike James post All-Star: 24.6 PPG | 6.5 APG | 46.7% FG | 44.8% 3PT.

I don't see JR Smith being that good of a player, so I'm not changing my Q-Rich prediction for him. Athletic guy that can shoot, but low percentage scorer, and not big in terms of his all-round game. He'll have to prove me wrong. Q's career high is 17 PPG, so that's his target to beat.

Very thought out. Appreciate this post og15, thanks.

When I first wrote this as I said again I was tired. I am still not willing to write a long drawn out explanation of why I think they will become who I said since I'm lazy [IMG] .

I will hoever explain why I put Gordon = Miller. Miller is known for his shot and his clutch. Thats what I think Gordon will be in the future. Known for his shot and his clutch.

I actually see Tyrus Thomas developing into a Shawn Marion if he can improve his shot.

I don't see it, but since he's a guy I haven't seen play in the NBA, I can't say you're wrong. He seems more like a PF/C than a perimeter player. Marion came in as a SF. To me he's more like a defensive version of Stromile Swift than he is a Shawn Marion, though he does seem to move like a SF type guy.

One thing I will say from summer league is that in comparison to a guy like Marion, he puts the ball on the floor a lot better in one on one situations. He showed a nice crossover against the guys he was playing.

I'm skeptical about his ability to develop some low post moves or offense as a PF/C. I think eventually, his offense will focus on using his athleticism and quickness. Obviously he has a lot of adjustment to make (better dribble, shot, etc.), but he has all the tools to be a similar player.

Ike Diogu= Mixture of Brand and Boozer, with Brands defense and shot and a bit of Boozers inside game

Brandon Roy= Joe Johnson, but not as good at creating and without the deep range, though he can develop it.

    Kendrick Perkins = Theo Ratliff

How do you get KG/Duncan from Dwight? Duncan has the best post game we have seen in a long time, and Howard...well doesn't have a post game. KG's offensive game is based on his superior ball handling and quickness for a big and his ability to fade and turn and shoot of everyone. I see shades of Howard as Amare on offense and KG on defense.

Dwight is more of a Tim Duncan or Shaq while Bosh is more of the KG type player. He is long and lanky while Dwight has a bigger build and uses his body in the paint. KG has a good mid range game like Bosh.

Elton Brand kind of reminds me of a shorter Hakeem Olajuwon, without the fancy footwork.

Dwight is pretty unique. He's a bit of Duncan and KG, but doesn't have either one's offensive game yet. But I think he may end up being similar to Jermaine O'Neal.

Thats a smart comment right there. Now just get rid of the dumb LeBron to Jordan comparisons. He's not good enough to be compared yet.
