Read in the Houston Chronicle that the Rockets are about to sign this guy. He's gonna be a nice pick up and hopefully he'll stick around. They expect him to run more of a fast break offense, but too bad he doesn't have anybody to run with besides Tmac. They also said he'll be a project (wow, now ur ready to develop a "project"[IMG] ) Nevertheless, it's a nice safe move by the Rockets. All we need now is an athletic PF, and we'll be almost back.

I think he has great potential. He was a Hopefully he develops into their future point guard.

The Rockets are just giving out contracts handliy, but Lucas looked good in SL, he was tearing it up, hitting the outside shot, and showed great playmaking ability.

they've only entertained 3 people to contracts.
    John Lucas III
    Vspan
    and Marcus Banks.

Why wouldn't you offer Lucas a contract after her performance?
Vspan has been on CD's radar for a while and is not developed enough to come to the NBA. He can play PG or SG but will spend most of his time at PG.
Marcus Banks was to add depth and he didn't come.
