Can we really compete with the Mavericks, Spurs, Suns, Clippers etc..

I definitly se the Rockets competing with the best in the west. Health is the only thing holding them back. The Rockets should have a big turn around from last season, and that Battier trade will probably be the smartest aquasition of the off season if T-mac is healthy.

 

i think if T-mac is healthy they can compete wit any team they should dominate lik thw lakers did when shaq was there

If everyone stays healthy, I think it's possible. Yao and TMac are enough to carry this team as it is, and addition of Battier will only help them. However, if either TMac or Yao get hurt....you'll be in trouble.

 

Everyone would agree that the Rockets have some proven peices to do it but they ALL need to click(emphasis on all). Small details can get in the way of that.

 

We can take Clippers and Spurs. I believe the missing piece in the puzzle (Battier) is what can make us win against Mavericks and Suns. Keep their star players from exploding.
