They took back that safety in the Lions vs. Packers game. These refs are pros at what they do too shoulden't they get it right the first time?
Well if you look at the footage Gado never crossed the line of scrimmage and threw the Ball FOWARD as he was going down thus making it a Halfback pass of sorts. Great heads up play by Samkon Gado, they deserved a Safety with that stupid play call there though, WHy the Hell would you line a guy 4 yards deep in the endzone up for a handoff?
Yeah it was funny when the refs were haveing a little meeting the whole stadium was dead silent. It was the biggest decision of the game if they gave the safety to the Lions the Packers would've lost.
Possibly but you never know, they could have forced a turnover on D or stopped the Lions in good Field Position and could have drove down for a Field Goal, that call was a game changer though.
The Lions gave us the game. The could of kicked a simple field goal and that mess would of never happen. Instead they decided to do a QB sneak on 4th down with a QB that weighs about 195.... Not to mention Shaun Rodgers personall foul which he purposely committed.
the call on teh forward was actually correct, he was out of the pocket....even if he wasnt, the pass fell at teh feet of an eligible reciever....the holding should have resulted in a safety, not because it occured in or out of the end zone, but because it occured with the ball in the endzone....
