The Minnesota Timberwolves outscored the Dallas Mavericks 13-2 over the final 3:15 of play to win its Toshiba Vegas Summer League game 86-76 Thursday afternoon. The Timberwolves turn around can be attributed to the nine-points scored by Randy Foye down from the stretch. Foye scored a game-high 28 points (10-18 FG, 7-9 FT).

Dallas trailed by eight after the first quarter, but reeled off 52 points in the second and third quarters combined to take a 12-point cushion into the fourth. The Timberwolves chipped away at the deficit and took the lead on a three pointer by Foye at 3:15. The three put Minnesota up by two, 76-74. It was a lead they would never relinquish.

Following Foye's 28-point effort was Bracey Wright's 20 (5-11 FG, 9-11 FT) for the Wolves. Paul Shirley chipped in 14 and was followed by 12 by Tyrone Ellis.

Dallas' Rawle Marshall scored 27 (6-11 FG, 14-16 FT) for Dallas in a losing effort. Pops Mensah-Bonsu and Pavel Podkolzin hit the double-digit mark with by scoring 12 and 10 points, respectively.

For the game, Minnesota outshot Dallas 50% (27-54 FG) to 40.0% (22-55 FG). In the third quarter, Dallas' 30-point burst was helped by the offense making 73.3% (11-15 FG) of its shots. foye is having a very good summer leauge.
