One of the reasons Miles got dropped from GS last season, was his lack of scoring. From how he's been playing in the Summer League, scoring seems to not be a problem. What are the chances Chicago picks him up? He's been averaging 39 min a game, so somebody must like the way he's been playing...

I do not think his scoring was the season Aaron was dropped by Golden State. He never really got an opportunity to score playing only playing six minutes a game, how much scoring did they expect? I personally love Aaron Miles’ game though his mid range jumper was improved immensely, his inability to hit it on consistent bases (along with his size) was the main reason he was not drafted. I think he will make the team he was our leading scorer in summer league play, and could be a nice replacement for Jannero Pargo.

I'd love to see him in a Bulls jersey. The more jayhawks the better.

He's also dropping 35 assists with only 8 turnovers with 122 min of play and shooting 28-29 from the charity.

Like BKS said, scoring wasn't really the reason why he was cut from GS, obviously thats the biggest flaw in his game but we had plenty of that from our backcourt already. Really, we just didn't have any room for Miles even though he was a pure PG which would have been nice to have. Monta Ellis needed more PT, Baron and Fisher ate up all the minutes at PG unless it was a blowout and while Miles did make good decisions with the ball and play good defense he just wasn't helping the team much. In a few years I could see him being a very productive player like a Brevin Knight.

Didn't the Sonics want to pick him up or something?

I would love to see Aaron Miles play for us. He could provide a spark off the bench when we need it and also run the offense. He has shown that he can run an offense in Summer League.

He's playing for the Sonics for the Rocky Mountain Review.

Ultimately, it’s going to be Miles’ choice whether he plays for the Bulls this season or not. We can offer him a contract, but he will likely get many offers, some from teams not as loaded at point guard, he will choose the best situation for him. Lucas of the Rockets received six offers before finally choosing to sign with Houston this week.
