Just seen this last night and it was what I expected it to be... The SH!T! + it was just nice to see a rated R movie this summer. It's so refreshing to me.

What was it about? Just wondering because I'm thinking about seeing that. But I haven't seen the first Clerks though.

Fugg yeah man. I mean PG and the PG-13 can be all right. But my favorite movies of all-time are all R rated movies so yeah it's refreshing on the real. And I guess you haven't seen the movie.

I go on here like o yeah somebody else seen the movie. But naw, it's about my refreshment towards an R movie haha.

Whoa didn't even see your post. Well the first one came out in 94 and I haven't seen it either. But I did see Jay and Silent Bobs movie and I know they were linked which made me really wanna see this.

Well it's about 2 guys working at a quick mart and talking all kinds of BS all day. Alot of cursing, funny stuff. All kinds of sexual references. Even the racial part in this movie was funny. They found a way to actually have a white man say all the racial slurs and it came out funny. Ppl may differ on that one though, but I wasn't offended.

The original Clerks is a classic. If you haven't seen it, you really need to do yourself a favor and go check it out. I remember when it first opened, I went to see it three or four times.

As for the new one, I haven't seen it yet because training has been so time consuming, but all Kevin Smith movies tend to be great - Clerks (original), Dogma, Mallrats, etc. His only bad flicks have been Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Chasing Amy. I thought Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was a let down, and Chasing Amy, well, it was alright I guess, but a departure from the typical Kevin Smith comedy.

Saw it on Friday and its awesome. If you've seen Clerks (and Mallrats, Dogma, J&SB:SB, Chasing Amy, etc.) you'll appreciate Clerks 2 more and notice alot of extra jokes and references to the other movies. Clerks 2 seems to appeal to a wider audience than alot or all of his other movies. Its got some of the immature drugs, sex, and fart jokes of J&SB:SB and alot of the more "mature" comedy with Randal arguing about everything and life sucking ass. I'd say its funnier than Clerks though I still like Clerks more since its a classic, should appeal to most comedy fans but like I said if you can see Clerks and any other Kevin Smith movies before seeing this then do it.

I loved Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but I agree Chasing Amy wasn't very good and are you forgetting about Jersey Girl? I havent seen it bt supposedly its just terrible. Anyway, if you're a fan of the series you should love Clerks 2.

Okay, so I finally got around to seeing it last night, and I watched it again today - it was that funny.

I love the characters Kevin Smith has created, because they're real. They're like all the dudes I hang around with, not the characters you see in your average blockbuster.

LMFAO @ Bringing porchmonkey back, the "We Eat *****" spraypainting, the "Hey hey, the HOLY fucking Bible, son." line, etc.

It's raunchy and probably a bit immature, but **** it, I love it. The only problem I had was that new character, Elias. I could really do without him, too trite and just not funny.
