I was reading in the Houston Chronicle the other day (now that I live in Houston) that the Texans want Reggie Bush if they can get him. I, personally, think this is silly. They just signed Domanick Davis to a HUGE contract extension and they have so many other needs on that team.

If they can do it, they should trade down and try to get an extra late first round or early second round pick to use on Offensive Linemen or other skill players on Offense (WR or TE).

If they do draft Reggie Bush, they're going to extend their awful play and brutalize their salary cap for another season or two at least.

On the other hand, they also have a lot to benefit from hype surrounding him. They have so many needs, that they could help themselves nicely to sponsor the Bush sweepstakes. If they have no need for Bush, then other teams will start dealing with the #2 team. Of course they are going to talk like they need him.

I think Houston is going too trade the #1 pick to the Jets or Packers, a team that would be intrested in trading up for Bush. I wouldn't blame them as they could end up with a couple extra picks and try to add depth and turn the franchise around. Ferguson would be there pick then at 3 or 4.

I also read somewhere that Carr is due and 8 million $$$ roster bonus and Houston might cut him to avoid paying it and then they would draft Leinart with the #1 pick. Again doubtful but just more info from rumor central.

    Jets want to trade down

Have heard that Packers will NOT pass on Bush if he's still on the board.

Dolphins are where the ususally are almost.

The best thing about this is that Jay Cutler should be available provided he tears it up at the all star games and combine

The Packers should get a WR. They already have Samkon Gado who is good.

Ever hear of Javon Walker, Donald Driver, and Robert Ferguson. Walker is one of the top WR's in the game when healthy. At least from what he showed us last year. Driver is having another 1,000 yard year season. Ferguson is a nice #3. Murphy is a 2nd round pick who got hurt against Carolina earlier in the year and has potential too be a great #4. Not to mention Chatman. So I would say Green Bay is very set at WR. In fact that would be the last postion I would draft.

I'm not sold on Gado. I like him but I'm not sure if he can be a solid RB in the league. Bush in my opinion can and will. Gado seems more like a short yardage type of back. I know he played great last night but the Lions are playing as bad as the Texans right now.

if Bush were to go to the NY Jets i would be ... soooooo happy. I would go out and buy a reggie bush uniform the minute it went on sale, lets see what else i would post a topic on the forums expressing my joy. i would write a letter to Terry Bradshaw and Herm thanking them for their tremendous gift. Ummm i'd thank you guys just for the sake of thanking someone. I would probably have a party and drink to him too.

... i hope we get him lol BUT IF THEY WANT HIM THEY GOTTA LOSE TO THE RAIDERS DONT KILL THEM JEEZ i dont want any more wins, be like the Texans kicker vs the Titans last week and shank everything as bad as possible [IMG]

If your hopeing that Bush will land in NY, then why do you have a Curtis Martin avatar? You need to change it.

Martin getting to the end of his career. Jets need a RB either this year or next year. If Bush happens to be there I wouldn't see why they wouldn't take him. The Jets would probably take Matt Leinart if Bush is gone and he is still on the board.

Saints need a new HC, DC, OC, Owner, QB, LT, RG, SSLB and Kicker.

All the rest can be worked with.
