<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pack Attack)</div><div class='quotemain'>If they can do it, they should trade down and try to get an extra late first round or early second round pick to use on Offensive Linemen or other skill players on Offense (WR or TE).</div>

While I agree they should look to trade down, I wouldn't settle for anything less than 2 mid 1st rounders or several future 1st round picks. Reggie Bush is the clear cut choice for #1 overall therefor you must not settle for anything less.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Hawk)</div><div class='quotemain'>If your hopeing that Bush will land in NY, then why do you have a Curtis Martin avatar? You need to change it.</div>

thats because Curtis Martin is my favorite player on the Jets and probably always will be my favorite player because of his skills and his character, but i relieze that hes getting old, hes having surgury soon, hopefully hes not lookin for a lot of money (which hes not) cause i want him as a Jets backup he should stay a Jet the rest of his career. He said the classiest thing in the paper, it was talking about how he wont break Emmit's record of 10 straight seasons with 1K yards since the beginning of his career (Curtis also has 10) Curtis said well it doesnt really matter to me because when i came into football i promised myself that i dont care about the Records, Money or Fame. All i care about is winning.

well enough of me gushing about Curtis Martin (btw i will never change that avatar) all i want for my draft present is Reggie Bush

Curtis is probably my favorite Running back currently and possibly all time. He's one of the classiest players ever.

I have a lot of respect for Curtis Martin. He's one of the most underrated backs ever.. To me Martin is a first ballot Hall of Famer.

If they don't get a RB in the draft, there's always free agency.

i'm not sure about the FA Rbs i dont really know who they are unless teh Seahawks dont sign Alexander to a contract, but i think i'd rather have Bush, Williams or Marrony (the guy from Minn idk his name) from the draft

also btw the draft order listed there might be wrong i've seen many other current draft orders and the Jets have the 3rd pick because of strength of scheduele. They might not have updated the strength of schedule it goes by the combined records of all the teams they played and the least strongest schedule goes before the stronger one. right now i think the Jets have a weaker schedule than the saints and packers

What other draft orders have you seen? When was the last time they where updated? If it is wrong maybe they screwed up it happens. It's pretty hard to tell by just looking. I trust it I think that it's accurate.

The RBs who are currently unrestricted after the year, as far as I know are: Edge James, Alexander, Jamal Lewis, Ahman Green, Najeh Davenport....and unless he signed a deal during the season, Rudi Johnson is too....Alexander cant be tagged, so hes the only one that is definelty free to sign elsewhere....

Rudi signed a deal this past off season. I believe Foster is a free agent but I'm not sure if he's unrestricted or not. I'm sure Carolina will resign him though..

Right now the draft order looks like this

    1. Texans
    2. 49ers
    3. Packers
    4. Jets
    5. Saints

If the season ended now Reggie bush would be gone by the time the Packers picked, So if he is gone who do we pick? Lineart would be tempting but He's not any more a stud than Aaron Rodgers could be although I do think he will have a much better pro career than Rodgers we have bigger needs in other places, if we don't trade down then we need to pick up a big play defensive player and the best one in the draft should still be on the board in A.J Hawk, however if we could Bush somehow Im almost positive that Bobby Carpenter would be available to us in the early second which would end up being just as good of a value.

I saw mine on ESPN Monday mourning Sportscenter. The Packers have a weaker schedule than the Jets and the Saints. They've always as. When they were 2-10 the Packers were picking 2nd. If GB ends tied with the Texans and 49ers for the worse record in football GB gets the first pick based on their schedule being weaker. I actually think GB is going to win 2 more games and go 5-11. I also think the 49ers will have the top pick and they will go Reggie Bush.

I honestly think the Packers are either going to trade up and draft Bush or trade down and go with Maroney. If they stay put then Ngata the DT from Oregon or Hawk the LB from Ohio State would be the pick.

Right now the Packer are looking at

    1. Reggie Bush RB USC
    2. Matt Leinart QB USC
    3. AJ Hawk LB Ohio State
    4. Haloti Ngata DT Oregon
    5. Laurence Maroney RB Minnesota

As of right now the top 5 picks are:
    1. Texans
    2. 49ers
    3. Jets
    4. Saints
    5. Packers

This could change because the Packers haven't played yet.

49ers are going to lose to the Texans.. Alex Smith is having big problems. I don't see him winning a game this year like Eli did last.

the draft breaks down better if the 49ers are 1st....they take Bush, the Texans try to trade down to a team that wants Lineart....Im sure they figure they could pick up a few extra picks and still get D'Brickeshaw Fergeson around #4....

The Texans have to take D'Brickshaw Fergueson with the pick, because Carr has lots of talent, he just needs some protection.
