    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">True Rajon Rondo story:

He had just completed his first summer league as an NBA player with pizzazz, rallying his short-handed Boston Celtics from a 17-point deficit and making the go-ahead three-pointer. As Rondo left the floor victorious, distinguished former coach Rudy Tomjanovich spotted a Boston Herald reporter and said, "I thought that guy wasn't supposed to be able to shoot."

When was the last time we saw Rondo? Four months ago?

Back then you would've had to dangle someone from the top of the Aegon Center and force out praise of Rondo's jumper.

Tomjanovich stopped short of declaring Rondo a reincarnated Kenny Smith, but being surprisingly impressed was satisfying enough. It shows you how hard this guy has worked and how badly he wants to succeed in basketball's premier league.

Rondo's new team knows that now. The Celtics reportedly exited the Vegas Summer League intrigued by the former University of Kentucky star's diverse skills and excited about figuring out how to effectively use the point-guard tandem of Rondo and Sebastian Telfair.

The Louisville kid's stats out in Las Vegas: 10.4 points on 56.4 percent shooting, 5.8 assists (second in the league), 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals in five games. </div>

Hell yea, we've got a guy that is an all-star if he learns how to shoot...and 56.4 fg% looks pretty good...
what i'm hoping is that he learns how to finish around the hoop like tony parker, because he's got that kind of speed...if he can, well then he'll be about 3 times the player TP is, which would make him one of the best PGs in the league
